Nyataponla
Bhairavnath Temple cannot be understood as an isolated unit. Myth contends that Nyataponla, which houses a goddess, was built to charm (or at least balance ) the terrorizing power of Bhairava. The five-story temple, built in 1703 by King Bhupatindra Malla, has been newly restored by Bhaktapur¹s Municipality.
